Although wine has been present in my life for as long as I can remember (my family is European, after all), my love for wine truly began when I was introduced to it by a fellow wino. He taught me how to pronounce Gewurztraminer without stuttering, to pick wines based on flavour profile rather than their (sale) price, and to the idea that pairings could enhance a meal in ways I couldn't have imagined before.

What started as an enjoyable way to get drunk has turned into a passion--one that, with proper tutelage, may just turn into the career of my dreams. As an incurable writer, I've decided to create a home for my journey; a place for me to chronicle the ups (and inevitable downs) of seeking the coveted title of Master of Wines.

Lets get drunk together and explore the world of the classiest way possible.

Cheers, darlings.
